What if your real computer was a super-sized Lego computer brick?

Industrial designer Paul Staal has created a functional desktop PC called the M2x2 that pays homage to Lego's classic computer brick design. The 3D-printed case houses a Mac Mini and features a 7-inch IPS touchscreen display with various add-ons. This project reimagines the iconic 1979 Lego computer brick at ten times its original size as a working computer.

Background

Lego first introduced a decorative computer brick design for its spaceship sets in 1979, which was purely cosmetic. In recent years, makers and engineers have been creating functional computers inspired by this iconic design.
