Music streaming service Deezer reports that 44% of new music uploads are AI-generated, with most streams of this content being fraudulent. The company has developed detection technology that identifies AI tracks with less than 0.01% false positives and excludes them from recommendations. In user testing, 97% of listeners couldn't distinguish between AI-generated songs and human-created music.
