Nvidia RTX Spark comes to Windows PCs with Arm CPU, RTX GPU, and unified memory

Nvidia has announced the RTX Spark, a new Arm-based processor for Windows PCs that combines a 20-core Grace CPU, up to 6,144 Blackwell GPU cores, and unified memory support up to 128GB. The chip, co-developed with MediaTek, will power upcoming slim laptops and compact desktops from major manufacturers like Dell, HP, and Lenovo, with devices expected this fall. This marks Nvidia's return to the Windows PC market after the Tegra series and represents a significant challenge to Qualcomm's dominance in Arm-based Windows PCs.

Background

Nvidia is primarily known for its AI data center products and consumer GPUs, but previously had limited success in the Windows PC processor market with its Tegra series. The company is now re-entering this space with a more advanced Arm-based design.
