Researchers devise a full-color night vision goggle

Researchers at the Beijing Institute of Technology have developed a full-color night vision device that translates different infrared wavelengths into distinct visible colors, unlike traditional green-tinted night vision. The system combines mercury telluride colloidal quantum dots that absorb infrared light with a dual-layer OLED that converts the energy into a full-color visible image.
