CD Projekt Red has set a target release window of 2028 for The Witcher 4, according to joint CEO Michał Nowakowski. Before that, the studio will release The Witcher 3 expansion Songs of the Past in 2027, which will be showcased at Gamescom's Opening Night Live.
Background
The Witcher 4, officially titled The Witcher: Wild Hunt's successor, has been in development at CD Projekt Red for several years following the commercial and critical success of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in 2015.
