Sequoia-incubated startup Empirik has raised $21M in seed funding to deploy an AI-driven observability tool that predicts infrastructure outages before they occur. The platform tracks system changes across large environments and acts as an autonomous "traffic cop," flagging risky updates while permitting low-risk changes automatically. The team was founded by Sequoia IT leaders Avon Puri and Sudheer Dhurjati after identifying the potential for AI to proactively solve outage prevention.
