Lua-async

Neovim documents its vim.async Lua module, providing structured async primitives (run, await, pawait, sleep) that let Lua code coordinate timers, callbacks, and child tasks without blocking Nvim's event loop.

Background

Neovim has been progressively adding Lua scripting support as an alternative to Vimscript. The vim.async module enables writing non-blocking Lua code inside the editor's event loop.
