Volkswagen will replace its discontinued ID.4 crossover with the all-electric ID.Tiguan, launching in Europe in early 2027. The automaker chose the well-known Tiguan nameplate believing it will be more appealing to EV-buying consumers. A US launch is confirmed for a later date, continuing production at the same Mexican plant.
