Command-line tool quickly removes Apple Intelligence from macOS 27

A developer released RemoveMacAI, an open-source command-line tool that lets macOS 27 users disable Apple Intelligence and reclaim up to 30GB of storage, since the OS lacks a built-in toggle. The tool uses Apple's own asset service and a configuration profile, keeping System Integrity Protection intact and remaining fully reversible.

Background

Apple Intelligence was introduced in macOS 15 but has become increasingly integrated across recent macOS versions, with Apple removing easy toggle switches in later releases like macOS 27 Golden Gate.
