SNTPings is a community event where participants draw on a shared 4K canvas by sending IPv6 ping packets at high speeds. Hosted by Studenten Net Twente and supported by SURFnet and Nikhef, the event features a 1.6 Tbps receiver and encourages building fast pingers while stresstesting the new SURFnet Infinity network.
Background
SNTPings is an annual tradition by Studenten Net Twente (SNT), the student network organization at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, combining network engineering with creative expression.
