A Savannah police officer gave her Flock login to her ICE agent husband

Former Savannah police officer Amber Harpe was fired after sharing her Flock surveillance system login with her ICE agent husband, Tyler Harpe. He conducted 983 searches tied to 97 license plates—overwhelmingly belonging to Hispanic drivers—violating department security protocols since SPD does not share Flock data with ICE.

Background

Flock Safety is a camera network operator used by many U.S. police departments to track license plates. Unauthorized sharing of access credentials raises serious concerns about civil liberties and racial profiling.
