A detailed annotated disassembly of the original 8 KiB firmware for the DEC VT100 terminal, launched in 1978 as DEC's first microprocessor-based terminal using the Intel 8080. The project provides fully explained code sections with cross-references to the official Technical Manual.
Background
The DEC VT100 was one of the most influential computer terminals in history, defining terminal emulation standards still referenced today. Its firmware was never publicly documented at the source-code level.
