Tesla announced that customers will be able to add their own vehicles to the robotaxi fleet starting in Q2 2027, as confirmed by VP Ashok Elluswamy during the company's Q3 2026 earnings call. The same autonomous driving software will power both Tesla's Cybercab and existing Model Y vehicles.
