Mistral has released the open weights of Mistral Large 4 (Le Chonk), a 1-trillion-parameter multimodal model with improved coding, cybersecurity, and reasoning efficiency. The model is European-trained and supports three reasoning modes for cost-performance balance.
Background
Mistral previously launched Mistral Large 4 in public preview earlier this month; the full open-weight release follows community feedback and further RL improvements.
