Users report that Amazon's latest base-model Kindles suffer from a light leak issue, with visible glowing or shadows around the screen edges, especially in dark mode and low-light conditions. The flaw affects both plastic and aluminum variants across all colors, likely stemming from the device's flush bezel design.
Background
Amazon periodically updates its Kindle lineup, with the latest base models featuring a modern flush bezel design that improves aesthetics but may introduce new hardware quality issues.
