Bentley is set to unveil its first fully electric vehicle, the Torcal, at next month's Monterey event. Sharing core engineering with the Porsche Cayenne EV but tailored for luxury performance, it targets the sports SUV segment with an EPA range of 300 miles and 400 kW DC fast-charging capability.
Background
Bentley has previously offered plug-in hybrids across its range but has not released a pure battery-electric model until now. The Torcal represents the marque's first complete shift to electric propulsion in its lineup.
