E Ink has announced Kaleido 4, its next-generation color e-paper display featuring 300 PPI for vibrant color content and a 50% contrast ratio improvement over previous generations. Device makers including Kobo, NOOK, Onyx Boox, and Bigme are expected to release products powered by the new panel in early 2027.
