GEFS on OpenBSD: A very early preview

ORI from Eigenstate has released an early, buggy preview of GEFS (a crash-safe, snapshotting, copy-on-write filesystem originally written for 9front) ported to OpenBSD kernel. The filesystem is far from production-ready with expected data loss on errors, but the core porting challenges are understood and community testing is welcomed.

Background

GEFS is a modern crash-safe copy-on-write filesystem originally developed by ORI for the 9front Plan 9 distribution. This port represents ongoing interest in bringing innovative filesystem technology to the OpenBSD ecosystem.
