How I converted BBC Micro Elite into a two-player game

Mark Moxon documents his process of hacking the BBC Micro version of Elite (the 6502 Second Processor edition) to support two-player gameplay. The project required significant modifications including splitting the space view, implementing geometry and rotation matrices for a second player's perspective, and adjusting target calculations and controls.

Background

This article by retro computing enthusiast Mark Moxon is part of his software archaeology work preserving and modifying classic British microcomputer software.
