Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the 2028 GT SUV, its first ground-up SUV developed entirely in-house, featuring three axial flux motors producing over 1,150 horsepower. Built on the AMG.EA architecture, it combines sports-car handling with ultra-fast charging and is scheduled to arrive in the US next summer.
Background
Mercedes-AMG's performance division has been transitioning toward electrification, previously unveiling the AMG GT four-door coupe earlier this year. The new SUV expands their electric lineup into the popular full-size segment.
