Volkswagen has unveiled the ID. Tiguan, replacing the ID.4 as its mass-market electric crossover. Built on the updated MEB+ platform, it offers up to 373 miles (WLTP) of range across multiple motor and battery configurations.
Background
Volkswagen's Chattanooga plant shifted focus away from ID.4 production earlier this year, and the brand is now pivoting to a refreshed model under its most recognized nameplate. The ID. Tiguan carries forward VW's strategy of scaling successful ICE models into the EV space.
