Codeberg is sunsetting its in-house Codeberg Pages v2 hosting solution on December 31, 2026, directing users to migrate to the new git-pages backed alternative. Users who have not yet migrated—particularly those who never set up a webhook in their repository—will stop serving content after the deadline. A migration guide and a Migration Check Tool are available to help users verify their status.
Background
Codeberg is a German non-profit platform for hosting open source projects, similar to GitHub but focused on free software. Codeberg Pages has been their static site hosting service, with v2 being their legacy in-house implementation.
